For all graduate student research assistants and teaching assistants at UNB, this meeting will include important voting involving finances, budget, bylaws, and selection of an interim Chief Steward.  See ugsw.ca for more information and meeting documents.

This event is your opportunity to meet and hear from our Executive and other committee members, ask questions, discuss upcoming plans and events, and elect an Interim Chief Steward (May 2018-October 2019). We will also be presenting our audited financial report, proposed Budget, and proposed Bylaw revisions for membership approval. These documents can be accessed on the UGSW web documents site.

All members in good standing are invited to put their name forward for the Interim Chief Steward position. A description of the role and responsibilities can be found in our Bylaws. You may submit your nomination form in advance or receive nominations from the floor. We will also be inviting members to become Information Stewards for their GAUs. If you have not completed your PSAC membership application card, we recommend arriving between 4:50 pm and 5:15 pm to complete this, in order to vote and/or run for Chief Steward or other Steward positions.
Members in Fredericton are invited to adjourn to the Grad House following the meeting. The event agenda can be accessed on the UGSW website or from our Facebook group.
