With a maximum class size of 30, students' learning is fostered by faculty, staff and their classmates. Professors know students by name, and are addressed by their first name.
Canadian & International Internships are core components of the degree.
Many employers are now recognizing and seeking the valuable skills and abilities that our students acquire such as leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, research, and community engagement among many others.
Leadership is an exciting new interdisciplinary field that examines the concept of leadership, the role of leaders in society, the practice of leadership, and how to foster leadership development.
Students develop skills such as public speaking and delivering presentations, team-building, critical thinking, problem-solving and advanced practical writing abilities.
Students in their final year will do a presentation to faculty and students, based on their cumulative portfolio that demonstrates the evidence of growth over their entire time at Renaissance College.
There is a special portfolio integration course each year to provide direction and support for portfolio creation and refinement, and the student portfolio is submitted in several stages. Feedback is provided at each stage for integration into future submissions.
