Fredericton | Photo Tour | UNB

Established in 1785, The University of New Brunswick is the oldest English-language university founded in Canada.

With a 15:1 faculty-to-student ratio, UNB is proud to offer small class sizes and a personal experience, while having a large enough student population and campus to give the options of a larger-sized university with 75+ programs.

The Fredericton campus is minutes from downtown, but also surrounded by nature – take a hike at the UNB woodlot, or drive minutes from campus to find campgrounds, skiing, snowshoeing and more.

The University of New Brunswick is situated on the traditional territory of the Wolastoqey people. The river that flows beside the university is Wolastoq (beautiful and bountiful river), along which live the Wolastoqiyik (Maliseets).
