KIN4284Assessment in Clinical Exercise Physiology 3 ch (3L) (EL)

Advances mastery of the concepts, methodologies and analysis techniques used in clinical exercise physiology to allow for the demonstration of competency in the assessment techniques required as a clinical exercise physiologist. Develops competency in assessment and interpretation of health-related vital signs, ECG collection and interpretation, health screening, strength/power assessments, functional assessments, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing Emphasizes clinical reasoning, test administration accuracy, interpretation, and professional practice aligned with the CSEP-CEP certification standards. Note: Credit can only be obtained for one of KIN 4281, KIN 4284, KIN 5281.
