Undertake training in generating and interpreting phylogenetic trees; engage with molecular and morphological data to identify organisms and test hypotheses about their relationships; explore key innovations that have led to changes in biological diversity in a variety of different organisms; learn techniques to study organisms and biological diversity (computer software, dichotomous keys, microscopy, dissection, and comparative observation). Companion course to BIOL 2063. Co-requisite: BIOL 2063. | ||
