GRK1203Introductory Ancient Greek I3 ch (3C)

An introduction to the ancient Greek language spoken and written by the citizens of classical Athens.  This introduction presupposes no previous knowledge of the language. This course is conducted in English.

GRK1213Introductory Greek II3 ch (3C)

A continuation of the introduction to ancient Greek. 

Prerequisite: GRK 1203 or equivalent.

GRK2205Intermediate Ancient Greek4.5 ch (3C 1T)

An intensive intermediate second-level course in ancient Greek language designed to prepare the successful student for the reading of ancient Greek texts from classical literature.  

Prerequisite: GRK 1213 or equivalent.  Note: Students who do not complete both 2205 and 3205 will receive only 3 ch for this course. 

GRK3205Beginning Ancient Greek Reading4.5 ch (3C 1T)

An intensive course designed to complete the study of basic grammar and to begin the development of skills in the reading of ancient Greek texts. 

Prerequisite: GRK 2205 or equivalent. 

GRK3213Reading Ancient Greek Authors I3 ch (3C)

A reading course designed to strengthen skills in the reading of ancient Greek texts. 

Prerequisite: GRK 3205 or equivalent.
