This course will help educators increase their knowledge regarding the preparation, mentorship and induction of both pre-service and beginning in-service teachers. The course includes an examination of: current research on teacher development; Canadian teacher preparation programs; initiatives in beginning teacher mentorship; and teacher induction programs from New Brunswick, Canada and Internationally.
