Rebecca started playing volleyball when she started middle school and has continued playing for her schools all the way through with her last stop being Simonds High school.

Rebecca says, "playing volleyball is different than other sports because the team becomes so close. The social aspect and love for the game are the reasons why I play."

Rebecca was a member of the student council from grade 10-12 at Simonds High School and was the 2011 class valedictorian. She plays many other sports including rugby, soccer, basketball and track & field.

Rebecca recognizes that the volleyball team is very young but she still wants to focus on the goal of making it to the playoffs with hard work and determination. Her personal goal is to become a fit power house by training outside of team practices.
