Indigo is a seasoned athlete, having had lots of experience in her youth with Volleyball. She played on several club teams, including the Northern Chill Volleyball club from under 13 to under 18. She was the captain and awarded most valuable player for the team from under 13 to under 17. Indigo was also very involved with the beach volleyball clubs playing several years of club there as well. In high school Indigo was captain of her team from grade 9 through to grade 12 and her team traveled to the championships in her 11th and 12th year.
Indigo says that one of her favourite parts of playing volleyball is the feeling you get after chasing down a bad pass or digging a hard ball. She also enjoys being able to keep the ball in play when everyone thinks it's out of play.
She says she is looking forward to playing with a brand new team, in a new province and building a strong bond. Personally, Indigo wants to end the season knowing she was a player who her team could consistently count on.
