New Brunswick’s 104th Regiment of Foot Bridge

Street Address: 7 Carleton St, Fredericton, NB

To commemorate the close historic connection that existed between the 104th Regiment of Foot and the City of Fredericton on 11 February 2013 City Council voted to name the footbridge across St Anne’s Point Drive the New Brunswick’s 104th Regiment of Foot Bridge. Since the Royal New Brunswick Regiment is considered the modern descendant of the 104th Regiment and carries its Battle Honour “Niagara,” it provided the Guard of Honour when the bilingual plaques were unveiled renaming the bridge in November 2014.
