New Brunswick’s 104th Regiment of Foot Bridge

To commemorate the close historic connection that existed between the 104^th Regiment of Foot and the City of Fredericton on 11 February 2013 City Council voted to name the footbridge across St Anne’s Point Drive the New Brunswick’s 104^th Regiment of Foot Bridge. Since the Royal New Brunswick Regiment is considered the modern descendant of the 104^th Regiment and carries its Battle Honour “Niagara,” it provided the Guard of Honour when the bilingual plaques were unveiled renaming the bridge in November 2014.
