On Tuesday, August 4 from 6 – 8 a.m. (2 hours), as part of modernizing the UNB network, ITS will be transitioning UNB network services to new fiber in the following location on the Saint John campus: 

• G. Forbes Elliot Athletics Centre 

During this time, access to UNB’s Wi-Fi and wired network will be unavailable in these locations. If you need internet access, please use cellular data. 

In the case of an emergency, please use a cell phone or pay phone to dial 9-1-1. 

Secure door access will not be impacted.  

Once the upgrades are complete, no action is needed - you’ll be automatically connected to the network (wired and wireless) the same way you are now, and you shouldn’t notice any changes. If you experience any issues connecting following the upgrades, please contact us.
