Original Details:

Starting Monday, Dec. 15 until Friday, Dec. 19 (1 week), as part of modernizing the UNB network, ITS will be replacing the wireless network equipment in the following locations:

• IUC Forestry (FR)
• IUC Physics/Admin (FR)
• IUC Concourse (FR)
• Bank of Nova Scotia Building (SJ)
• Beaverbrook House (SJ)
• HWK Commons (SJ)

The upgrades will progress section by section within each building. Short Wi-Fi interruptions (approximately 5 minutes) may occur in the areas being updated.

Once the upgrades are complete, no action is needed - you’ll be automatically connected to Wi-Fi the same way you are now, and you shouldn’t notice any changes. If you experience any issues connecting following the upgrades, please contact us.
