The University of New Brunswick’s Renaissance College hosted a new instalment of its Leadership Speaker Series on Wednesday, March 23.

“Innovative Approaches to Housing and Homelessness: Advocacy, Leadership, and Movement Building” was a free virtual panel discussion centered on the issue of homelessness and affordable housing in the community and the actions needed to address it.

Panellists

  • Marcel Lebrun, social entrepreneur of the 12 Neighbours Project, a not-for-profit entity currently building a community of 96 tiny homes on Fredericton’s northside

The panel was moderated by Joan Kingston, chair of the Fredericton Community Action Group on Homelessness

This is the second offering in Renaissance College’s Leadership Speaker Series, which was launched as part of their 21st anniversary celebration entitled “Changing the World Through Connection and Community.”
