Spring Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR)

Welcome future BBA Students!

The May 9 and July 11 face-to-face on-campus registration dates are cancelled, but we have planned alternative online events to help you with advising and registration.

If you are a new student who is not direct from high school, email BBAcontact@unb.ca for advising and registration information.

Information for students coming into the BBA directly from high school is below.

Advising and registration

SOAR programming for the Faculty of Management will consist of the following steps:

  • Advising Sessions on Microsoft Teams (your academic advisor will contact you by email soon with dates and times). During these sessions you will be able to
    • Learn about the BBA Program, including degree requirements and experiential learning opportunities
    • Get important details about your first year
    • Talk with a Peer Mentor (upper year student)
    • Ask questions!
  • Registration will follow in the weeks to come, with one-on-one guidance from the Student Coordinator, via email. Before you register, you will be provided all the course information you need.

To prepare for these SOAR sessions, make sure you have activated your UNB Account. To do this, go to my.unb.ca. You will need your Student Number and UNB Login ID.

Parent and supporter information sessions

Parents and supporters, we’ve scheduled the following information sessions specifically for you so that we can answer your questions and tell you everything you need to know about the BBA Program and student supports:

  • Saturday, June 6, 1:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 10, 7 p.m.

These sessions will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. If you would like to join us for one of these, please email BBAcontact@unb.ca and we will send you further details.
