Research interests
Our research focuses on the establishing quantum materials in the renewable energy sector. We synthesize novel solid-state materials and precisely engineer the electrical, thermal, and optical properties through advanced doping techniques.
Key focus areas
- Thermoelectrics: Converting waste heat into electricity.
- Photovoltaics: Converting solar radiation into electrical power.
- Superconductors: Enabling loss-free power transmission.
- Supercapacitors: High-performance electrical energy storage.
To accelerate our research, we combine the experiments with first-principles calculations and machine learning. We also develop software to guide our optimization strategies and effectively visualize complex characterization and measurement data.
