Research interests

Functional materials, analytical chemistry (teaching)

I have a diverse background in materials for electrochemical energy storage and conversion, electrochemical sensors, heterogeneous catalysis. The research carried out in our group at The University of New Brunswick aim at synthesis of morphology-controlled nano-catalyst, understanding the structure-reactivity interplay for the optimum redox activity, electrochemical characterization as well as electrode engineering.

  • Electrocatalysis
  • Electrochemical sensors
  • Energy storage in capacitors
  • Functional materials: carbons, redox active polymers, metallic clusters
