Danie Gagnon (she/her) is the Administrative Coordinator for the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre for Family Violence Research (MMFC). Danie is a graduate of UNB's BBA program, and is working part-time to complete her master’s degree in applied health services research; she has experience in conducting and disseminating academic and community-based research projects in the fields of supporting older adults, healthy aging, and aging in place. Danie has been closely connected to the MMFC for a number of years; she is a founding member of the MMFC's Abuse and Neglect of Older Adults Research Team (ANOART) and a steadfast & passionate advocate for the rights of women who experience late-life intimate partner violence.
Danie joins the MMFC to offer administrative support in operational, research, and knowledge dissemination activities.
She is the first point of contact for the MMFC and a valuable member of the MMFC team.
