Dr. Nasrin Yazdanian is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Faculty of Management at the University of New Brunswick. She completed her Ph.D. in Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing, from Concordia University (a joint doctoral program with McGill University and HEC Montréal). Prior to joining UNB, she taught undergraduate and graduate marketing courses at Concordia University, and the University of the Fraser Valley. Her teaching experience includes Essentials of Marketing, Introduction to Marketing, International Marketing, and Marketing Management.

Dr. Yazdanian’s research focuses on understanding consumer behavior through laboratory and field experiments. Her primary research interests include socially responsible consumption, prosocial behavior, loneliness and consumer well-being, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Her recent work investigates the role of Artificial Intelligence in reducing the negative impact of loneliness on consumer well-being and socially responsible consumption decisions. Her research has been published in leading journals, including Psychology & Marketing.

Dr. Yazdanian currently teaches Principles of Marketing (BBA), Marketing Management (BBA), and Market Opportunity Analysis (MBA) at UNB.
