Dr. Lucas Wang is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Faculty of Management, University of New Brunswick. His research focuses on global strategy, governance of cross-border cooperation and corporate sustainability. He has published articles in the Journal of Business Ethics, Long Range Planning and the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research. To further contribute to the academic community, he has reviewed papers for journals like Journal of International Management and currently serves on the editorial board of Long Range Planning.

Dr. Wang teaches Strategic Management in UNB’s BBA and MBA programs and Business Planning and Entrepreneurship in the BBA program. Before joining UNB, he worked as a visiting professor at Ivey Business School, Canada and was a faculty member at the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China. At Nottingham University, he was named 'Best Professor' for his teaching performance and impact. He had also delivered classes in various executive training programs and supervised graduate students at the Master and PhD levels. Additionally, he served as a sessional instructor at the University of Windsor, Canada and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA.

Dr. Wang uses the case method in his business courses. He has also written cases on companies operating in Canada, China and New Zealand. One of his cases, 'Moris Chemical', won the 2020 Case Writing Award from EFMD, and two other cases, one on Tim Hortons and the other on FamilyMart, are now bestsellers in Harvard Business Publishing. In addition to research and teaching activities, Dr. Wang has worked as a consultant with MNEs and SMEs.
