Suzanne Tucker joined the Faculty of Business Administration in 2016, and is a member of the Accounting area. Previously she taught with the Faculty of Business at UNB Saint John for nine years, five as a part-time instructor, and four as a full-time instructor, where she was awarded the Departmental Award in Teaching Excellence in 2012, and the Faculty Excellence Award in Teaching in 2014. She has been nominated for the Dr. Allen P. Stuart award annually since 2012.

Ms. Tucker is a professional accountant (CPA, CMA) and was awarded Fellowship in 2014, the highest national award given to accountants for outstanding achievement in career, in the profession, and to the community. She is a twice-over alumna from UNB (’99, BBA and ’06, MBA). She has over 20 years of leadership experience in private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, and is an active entrepreneur. In addition, she is deeply involved in the CPA professional education program, as a facilitator, session leader, and technical advisor.

Ms. Tucker’s primary responsibility is dedicated to teaching accounting at the undergraduate level. Her academic areas of interest include accounting, performance management, and holistic wellness.
