Suzanne Tucker is a Teaching Professor in the Faculty of Management at the University of New Brunswick, and is the Associate Dean, Strategic Initiatives. She began her teaching career at UNB Saint John and joined the Accounting Area in Fredericton in 2016.

Prof. Tucker has received multiple Excellence in Teaching Awards over the course of her career at UNB and has been nominated several times for the Allan P. Stewart award.

She has an extensive record of academic and professional service. She has served as a member of Senate (UNB Saint John); a member of the Board of Trustees for the Pension Plan for academic employees (2023-2025); a member of the Senate Student Standing & Promotion Committee (2023-2026); and numerous faculty committees and task forces.

Prof. Tucker is a professional accountant (FCPA, FCMA) and was awarded Fellowship in 2014, the highest national distinction conferred by the accounting profession, recognizing outstanding achievement in career, service to the profession, and contribution to the community. A twice over alumna of UNB, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (1999) and a Master of Business Administration (2006).

She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across the private, public, and not for profit sectors.

Prof. Tucker teaches undergraduate accounting courses at the third- and fourth-year levels.
