On Sept. 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, the UNB community is invited to come together in remembrance, reflection and learning as we honour residential school Survivors and commemorate the children who never returned home.

Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m.
The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER, 15 Peter Kelly Dr., UNB Fredericton campus
and
Hans W. Klohn Commons, UNB Saint John campus

While in-person attendance is encouraged, a livestream will be available for those unable to join us on campus. Please RSVP by Wednesday, Sept. 23.

We encourage you to wear an orange shirt as a symbol of remembrance and solidarity. Orange hearts will also be available to pick up and display.

We are honoured to welcome Elders who will lead the gatherings on each campus. Together, we will reflect on the truths of our shared history, listen to and learn from Survivors and reaffirm our collective commitment to reconciliation.
