Join us for a special guest lecture with UNB Geodesy & Geomatics Engineering (GGE) alumnus Adrian Tout, current Product Partnerships Lead of Google Lens + AR (Google Metaverse) and former Head of Google Geo Enterprise (Google Maps).

What: Public lecture: “Innovation to Impact at Scale: Issues, Challenges and Lessons”

Adrian obtained his MScE degree from Geodesy & Geomatics Engineering (1997) and has since pursued a career that includes building a successful digital mapping and location-based services business that pioneered the industry which is now key at companies such as Google, Apple, UBER, Lyft and many others. Adrian has significant experience with tech giant Google having led commercial efforts at Google Maps and as Product Partnerships Lead for Google Lens + AR (Augmented Reality). Come hear Adrian share his experience on product innovation and the lessons he's learned from both successes and failures in developing commercial applications of new technology.
