Atlantic Digital Grid - Meeting of the UNB NB Power and Emera Smart Grid Research Center-FR

Event Details:

The quarterly ADG - Atlantic Digital Grid meeting for Q1 2023, of the Emera and NB Power Smart Grid Research Center at the UNB is to be conducted at the Chancellor Room, Wu Conference Centre, UNB. The meeting participants would be researchers and the Principal Investigators from the respective themes of work at the Centre, alongside the partners and associated industry participants. The meeting event is a forum for the PIs and the researchers to provide an update on their respective areas of research at the center as well as future plans of their respective themes and appraise and involve the partners in the discussions. It also allows the partners to access and involve themselves with the work being done at the Centre and enables better participation and involvement across the Centre resources and hence ensures sustainable participation and involvement of the concerned. 

In addition to the project partners Emera, NB Power and Siemens, invitation is also extended to ACOA and MITACS and NS Power alongside a few industry participants. At the event, the Centre may also provide partners with the financial updates and answer any questions regarding the same. Each theme will have an approximate 15 to maximum 16 minutes to present their respective theme’s entire presentation work and updates. The presentations are intended to be high level progress of the scope of work and next steps w.r.t. the themes as well as future plans of their respective themes.
