UNBF Virtual Reading Series with Alicia Elliott-FR

University of New Brunswick Fredericton is pleased to invite you to a virtual literary reading by acclaimed Haudenosaunee writer Alicia Elliott on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. Atlantic/6 p.m. Eastern. 

Alicia Elliott's writing is informed by the personal and collective impact of colonial legacies, including the residential school system. She has written for, among others, CBC and The Globe and Mail, and her essays have been nominated for National Magazine Awards three times, winning gold in 2017. Also a writer of short fiction, Elliott was selected for Best American Short Stories 2018 and Best Canadian Stories 2018. Her first book, A Mind Spread Out on the Ground, is a National Bestseller.
