Join the workshop and network with teams from across the world!

On March 5 at 12 p.m., Sandi MacKinnon and Meredith Langille will kickstart the IBEC Data Challenge and showcase an exciting project they are working on with the City of Fredericton called "The Prosperity Hub," based on the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals! This interactive workshop will cover how data collaboration in the non-profit sector can lead to community prosperity.

We encourage participants to attend the session, join the conversation, and network with other data-driven individuals worldwide. This session will set the benchmark for the presentation rounds in the Data Challenge and show how to use data to tell a story!

PRESENTER PROFILES

Sandi MacKinnon, Executive Director of Greater Fredericton Social Innovation, brings to life a spirit of cooperation and collaboration. This involves a keen eye for potential partnerships on shared problems or challenges, the ability to build a team where there was no team before, and then to promote this new direction to the community. The result is a new creative energy emerges in the community and the positive feeling of making a difference.

Meredith Langille graduated from UNB’s Renaissance College Leadership Philosophy program with minors in Mathematics and Sociology during the spring of 2020 and now works with Greater Fredericton Social Innovation as a Community Coordinator and Research Assistant on the Non-profit Data Collaboration Project in partnership with NBCC. Meredith is passionate about the power of data in the social sector and how it can help address community needs, increase social impact, and influence policy development.
