Charles Darwin was born on the 12th of February 1809, a date which is now celebrated by biologists across the globe as ‘Darwin Day’. This year the Department of Biology at UNB Fredericton will be holding a special public lecture to mark the day.

Dr. Andrew Hendry, a Professor of Evolutionary Biology at McGill University will deliver the lecture titled, “Darwin in The Machine: Eco-Evolutionary Dynamics In Nature.” Please join us at 7 p.m. for a stimulating evening discussing the importance of Darwin’s ideas to modern biology.
