Event Details:

Influenza virus or “the flu” is a common upper respiratory infection. It often starts with a headache, body aches, chills, and a cough or sore throat. You may also develop a fever, loss of appetite, fatigue, runny nose, and sneezing. The flu can lead to missed time from school or work. It is very contagious, but also preventable.

Come join third year nursing students in partnership with the UNB Student Health Center on Wednesday, Nov. 6,  from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.,  in the Human Resources Department in Room 106; Thursday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the STU gymnasium J.B. O’Keefe; or Friday, Nov. 8,  from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., in the Harriet Irving Library to get your flu shot.

It is open to everyone. Cost is $15 for students and $25 for others. CASH or cheque will be accepted. Please leave enough time for a mandatory 20 minute wait after your injection. Upcoming clinics to follow. For more information contact the UNB Student Health Center at go.unb.ca/studenthealth
