The UNB Associated Alumni has a rich and proud tradition of keeping UNB alumni connected with each other and with the university through its reunion activities.
Come back to the Fredericton campus June 4-7, 2026, to reconnect and reminisce with former classmates. The weekend will be filled with events and celebrations that will bring you back to ‘the good old days’ at UNB, including our beloved lobster boil and senior classes’ dinner.

Thursday, June 4
- FORESTRY Class of 1966 Reception: 4 - 8 p.m.
- Kick off your reunion weekend in true forester fashion at this special Forestry Class of 1966 reception. Join your fellow ’66 classmates for an evening of camaraderie, storytelling, and celebration as you reconnect with friends who shared your time in the woods, the classroom, and everything in between. This event is open to Forestry Class of 1966 alumni and their guests.

- Welcome Centre Meet & Greet: 6 - 8 p.m.
- Let the celebrations begin! Pick up your name badge, swag bag, and event tickets, then stay awhile to mingle with classmates, fellow alumni, and friends. Enjoy light finger foods and a cash bar in the relaxed atmosphere of the Alumni Lounge - the perfect setting to start reconnecting, sharing stories, and easing into a weekend full of memories and celebration.

- Join us for a special alumni reception in celebration of a milestone year at UNB's faculty of management (formerly business administration) – 75 years of delivering business programs and 50 years as an official business school! Enjoy complimentary admission, light refreshments, and the chance to explore one of the region’s most iconic cultural spaces. We look forward to honouring our history—and the alumni who have shaped it—with you.

- ENGINEERING Gala Dinner: 100 Years of the UNB Electrical & Computer Engineering Department: 6 - 9:30 p.m.

- Celebrate a century of innovation, learning and discovery with UNB’s department of electrical & computer engineering at a gala dinner! Begin the evening with live music from the jazz trio Solina, one of Atlantic Canada’s most exciting trios, and conversation with current and former professors, fellow alumni, and friends, followed by a three-course meal. Red and Black Day: Wear your red and black with pride!
- Class of 1976 Golden Grad Breakfast: 9 - 10:30 a.m.
- Celebrate 50 years of memories and milestones! Join fellow classmates for the Golden Grad Breakfast buffet as we honour the Class of 1976. Reconnect with old friends and relive the moments that made your UNB years memorable. (This breakfast is open to 1976 graduates and their guest only.)

- Classes of 1976 and 2001 Pin Ceremony and BBQ: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Special Pin Ceremony for alumni celebrating their 50th- and 25th- year reunions in the Student Union Building, followed by a BBQ outside the Alumni Memorial Building with an option to eat inside Memorial Hall, taking in the beauty of her historic stained glass windows.

The BBQ will be followed by an open house of the engineering faculty, including tours of the faculty’s dynamic new spaces, and will feature what’s happening in the department of electrical & computer engineering to mark and celebrate their 100th anniversary.

- A private tour of the kinesiology building, the Richard J. CURRIE CENTER, and the Lady Beaverbrook Gym for the Physical Education Class of 1971, led by the Dean of Kinesiology, Dr. Wayne Albert.

- Looking for a place to spend your Friday afternoon with friends and fellow UNBers? Check out one of Fredericton’s popular craft breweries! Drop by the UNB alumni-owned Picaroons Roundhouse beginning at 3 p.m. to unwind and socialize in a casual setting, while enjoying views of the Saint John River. The brewery will be open to the public, so seating is first come first served. The first 100 UNB alumni registrants will receive a complimentary drink ticket and will be entered to win some exciting UNB prize packs!

- Reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate 50 years of shared memories at the Nursing Class of ’76 Wine & Cheese! This special pre-dinner reception offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect before heading downstairs to the Senior Classes Dinner. Open exclusively to Nursing Class of 1976 alumni and their guests.

- Revisit a Saturday tradition. Recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets, the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is the city’s traditional Saturday morning gathering spot downtown for fresh and healthy foods, craft, creativity and conversation.

- Beaverbrook Art Gallery Tours: 10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.
- Enjoy a guided tour of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. The gallery has undergone a major construction project dedicated to the late Harrison McCain. Construction on the Harrison McCain Pavilion began in 2019 with the goal of creating a fully accessible, 10,000-square foot expansion to the gallery that would dramatically change the streetscape of Queen Street, honouring the legacy and generosity of Harrison McCain.

Catch up with classmates and share fond memories from your university days. This event is open to the Physical Education Class of 1971 alumni and their guests.

Faculty members are also warmly invited to join, making this a meaningful opportunity to reconnect and honour the journey you’ve shared.
