Sunday, Sept. 21

Flow | Courant | Psiw-Tepos
10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

A gathering in motion, honouring the steady flow of water and knowledge.

Held on Wabanaki territory, this day weaves together knowledge, care, and kinship — inviting alumni to be present at their own pace and rhythm. Rooted in Indigenous values and guided by Knowledge Keepers and community leaders, this unique event is dedicated to reflection, environmental stewardship, and relationship-building.

Throughout the day, honoured guests will share stories and teachings by land and water, fostering connection to place and purpose. Gatherings around fire and food will offer space for storytelling, gratitude, and conversations about community and meaning.

A guided paddle experience offers an opportunity to deepen reflection and integrate the day’s teachings — connecting with the Wolastoq as a living current that carries forward our shared responsibilities as alumni and community members (a $125 registration fee is required for the paddle portion of the day).

Register to express your interest. Further details and participation options will be shared as the event approaches. Join for any part of the afternoon that suits you and stay as long as you wish.

Space, Place, and Meaning Acknowledgement
We gather on the traditional and unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik and Mi'kmaq peoples. We honour the rivers, languages, and relationships that sustain this place, and our responsibilities within it.

Location: Menahqesk (UNB Saint John + Tucker Park Beach)
Cost: Free
