A message matrix is a powerful, positioning document that guides the way we talk about a faculty or unit at UNB. The project builds upon the university’s UNB brand foundation – a comprehensive internal tool that defines what makes a UNB education distinct.
For each message matrix, we form a working group with the faculty to develop a guiding document that empowers the UNB community to share each faculty or unit’s unique story in a consistent and cohesive manner.
The process involves deep and extensive discussions with faculty leaders to develop:
Download the detailed Message Matrix Guide for an in-depth look at the process behind building a message matrix.
Below is a list of message matrices that have been completed so far. Each message matrix includes the faculty’s agreed-upon mission statement, positioning statement, brand truths, key messages and proof points.
