If you are participating in admission on the spot (AOS) at a University of New Brunswick event, follow these steps!
Please note that admission on the spot is not available for Nursing and Health Sciences*. Students who would like to apply to these programs may still submit their application and be assessed for their second choice program. Admission on the spot is for Canadian residents applying to UNB directly from high school only.
*Admission on the spot is not available for the Bachelor of Nursing (FR/SJ) or Health Sciences (SJ) programs. However, by attending the event you are still eligible for your application fee to be waived. Students who would like to apply to these programs may still submit their application and be assessed for their second-choice program.
You can do so online. Fill out your application as you would even if you were not participating in AOS.
If you are not eligible for a free application waiver (applying to UNB with a Canadian high school transcript), please pay your application fee online.
Bring your official high school transcript and grade 12 course list. If you are unsure if you have correct or up-to-date information from your school, please reach out to your guidance counsellor. Please ensure that the transcript is in a sealed envelope.
If you are a permanent resident studying at a Canadian high school, please bring your permanent resident card to the event.
Anyone applying on the spot to the School of Leadership Studies must also supply an updated resume and cover letter.
If you are participating in AOS at one of our Future Student Events, please arrive 30 minutes early. This allows us time to process your application, and you won't miss any of the event's scheduled activities while we do!
If you have questions about this process, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at chooseunb@unb.ca.
