At the School of Leadership Studies, we focus on community development and responsible leadership. In this hands-on, collaborative learning environment, you’ll develop a wide variety of academic and interpersonal skills, which will bring success to any career path.

Why UNB’s School of Leadership Studies?

This is a unique, eight-term, bachelor program that is normally completed in less than three calendar years. The School of Leadership Studies relies on experiential education, discussion-based learning, and fostering a personal academic experience for each student. We admit approximately 25-30 students per year.

Hands-on Learning

We believe that education includes adventure and travel. As part of the School of Leadership Studies curriculum, all students complete two internships over the course of their studies. The first is a placement anywhere in Canada. The second takes place in one of various locations abroad (i.e. Bhutan, Vietnam, Belize, Germany, Malawi, Burkina Faso, India, Tonga and other locations).

Internships offer you insight into what you wish to gain from your future career and they also assist your understanding of developing international communities.
