This course will provide a broad introduction to the psychology of music. Topics covered will include the origins of music in humans, music acquisition during childhood and adolescence, how music interacts with emotions, well-being, and other cognitive abilities, the process of performing music, and the neuroscience of music. Prerequisites: PSYC 1003 and PSYC 1004
