Introduction to core nursing concepts, nursing standards, academic writing, professional issues (ethics, law, collaboration), and primary health care, with particular emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention. Students with credit for NURS 2019 cannot also count credit for NURS 1009 or NURS 1011. This course is intended for Step Up to Nursing students only.
