INDT4311Discrete Event System Simulation4ch (3C 3L*)

Simulation plays a critical role in the design, analysis and optimization of complex systems in most engineering disciplines. This course focuses on the simulation of discrete-event systems. Computer networks, manufacturing systems, clocked digital circuits and inventory systems are some examples where discrete-event simulation is widely used. Programming-based laboratory assignments will form a significant component of the course.

Prerequisites: CMPE 1003 (or enrolment in the BINTand INDT 2111. All prerequisites must be passed with a minimum grade of C.
