Fundamental Chemical Engineering concepts such as material and energy balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and materials science are integrated into the design process. Flowsheet preparation, chemical process safety, loss prevention and project planning; codes and standards, responsible care and environmental stewardship. Engineering economics and profitability. Prerequisites: ENGG 1003 and ENGG 1015. or ENGG 1101 with a minimum grade of C. Co-requisites: CHE 2004; CHE 2012 or ME 2413; and ME 3511 or ME 3513. | ||
