This course focuses on managing resources and evaluating performance when it is not appropriate to attach monetary values to outcomes. It provides a basic understanding of financial reporting for non-profit organizations. Management accounting concepts and techniques applicable to a non-profit organization will also be examined with an emphasis on the budgetary process and budgetary control. NOTE: This course is offered exclusively for students enrolled in the Leadership and Management for Healthcare Professionals Certificate . Prerequisite: BA 5001 with a minimum grade of C.
