This course introduces students to concepts, problems and analysis related to the design, planning, control, and improvement of manufacturing and service operations. Topics such as information flow, operations strategy, product and process design, capacity planning, managing quality, managing inventory, forecasting methods, facilities planning and location decisions will be covered. Note: Credit cannot be counted for both BA 3653 and INDT 3653.
