Practical volunteer work in some aspect of science outreach and/or science education for at least 20 hours in a term. Together, the student and their supervisor create a skills competency plan and needs assessment. Upon completion, students submit a reflective summary connecting their experience to transferable skills and core competencies identified during planning. The student and supervisor also complete a final competency review form. Students should seek permission from the Science Outreach Coordinator before registering.
