Through lectures, hands on experience and professional supervision, an introduction to athletic therapy is provided. Hands on experiences will include practical lab experiences designed to gain skills associated with injury assessment, athletic taping, exercise programming and game day injury management. Students will work with a selected REDS athletics team that is not part of the integrated support team program or other non-REDS athletic programs to support the professional athletic therapy team. Note: Credit will not be given for KIN 3930, KIN 3920 and KIN 3950.
