Kinesiology

KIN1063Biomechanics I 3 ch (3C)

Introduces foundational topics of human posture and movement as a subdiscipline of kinesiology science. Initially emphasizes position analysis in both one- and two-dimensions to characterize human posture, followed by kinematic analysis in one- and two-dimensions to describe human movement. Develops the necessary background for understanding and quantifying posture and movement in relation to sport and rehabilitation sciences.
