ECE3821Electromagnetics I4 ch (3C 1T 3L*)

Covers the foundations of electromagnetics for engineers. After a brief review of vector calculus and introduction to Maxwell’s equations, major topics include electrostatics, magnetostatics, electrodynamics, electromagnetic waves, and transmission lines. The course concludes with an introduction to antennas and radiofrequency safety.

Prerequisites: ECE 2711, MATH 2513, MATH 3503
