Examines history, philosophy, and social contexts of education. Through each of these disciplines, teacher candidates explore broad concerns and impacts of ethics and equity with connections to curriculum, pedagogy, and school practice. Notes: This course will be graded as Credit/No Credit CR/NCR. Credit cannot be counted for both ED 5070 and ED 5072,
