Undertake a project at a depth not provided elsewhere in the curriculum. Plan the thesis during the preceding term, with the topic approved by a faculty member acting as a supervisor before term starts. Submit a detailed proposal, schedule, progress reports, and final thesis report to the coordinator with supervisor approval, and present a seminar. Detailed guidelines available from coordinator in the preceding term. Normally offered as an eight month course over fall and winter terms, and available over the summer term as a four month course. NOTE: Open to all CS students in their final year with a B average in the previous assessment year or a B CGPA.
