Conditions

Awarded to students who have completed the minimum requirements for the second year of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in either the electrical, chemical or mechanical paths. Selection will be made on the basis of demonstrated leadership ability and academic achievement (minimum GPA of 3.2). A shortlist of candidates will be interviewed by representatives of UNB and Irving Oil. Preference will be given to students enrolled in the Engineering Co-op program. The recipients must be New Brunswick residents according to the definition of the New Brunswick Student Financial Services’ guidelines and may also be offered co-op opportunities with Irving Oil.
