Gain an understanding of the current state of Canadian literary studies and its historical basis. Learn about alternative genealogies in the field from authors writing within and against a singular idea of Canadian literature. Authors may include Jordan Abel, Austin Clarke, Marie Clements, Omar El Akkad, Martin Engel F.P. Grove, Thomas Chandler Haliburton, Larissa Lai, SKY Lee, Alice Munroe, M. NourbeSe Philip, and Mary Ann Shadd.
