EE6393Modelling and Simulation of Multidomain Systems3 ch

Modern engineering problems are inherently multiphysics in nature. This graduate course develops a unified, linear graph-theoretic framework for constructing analytical, time-domain models of systems that incorporate electrical, mechanical (translational and rotational), hydraulic, and thermal characteristics. Starting from a system schematic, students translate physical interconnections into linear graphs, derive domain-specific component equations, and systematically assemble coupled state-space representations amenable to simulation.
