Our Reunion Weekend Registration Welcome Centre is located in the Alumni Lounge in the Alumni Memorial Building (formerly the Memorial Student Centre), 13 Bailey Dr., upper floor. There will be plenty of reserved parking at this location. Our Welcome Centre hours are:

  • Thursday, June 4: 12 - 8 p.m.
  • Friday, June 5: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 6: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Thursday, June 4

  • FORESTRY Class of 1966 Reception: 4 - 8 p.m.
    • Kick off your reunion weekend in true forester fashion at this special Forestry Class of 1966 reception. Join your fellow ’66 classmates for an evening of camaraderie, storytelling, and celebration as you reconnect with friends who shared your time in the woods, the classroom, and everything in between. This event is open to Forestry Class of 1966 alumni and their guests.

  • All Classes Meet & Greet: 6 - 8 p.m.
    • After picking up your name badge, swag bag, and event tickets in our Alumni Lounge Welcome Centre, make your way “up the hill” to the Student Union Building to reconnect with classmates, fellow alumni, and friends. Enjoy light appetizers and a cash bar in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere — the perfect setting to share stories, renew friendships, and ease into a weekend filled with memories, celebration, and UNB spirit.

  • MANAGEMENT Milestones Reception: 6 - 8 p.m.
    • Join us for a special alumni reception in celebration of a milestone year at UNB's faculty of management (formerly business administration) – 75 years of delivering business programs and 50 years as an official business school! Enjoy complimentary admission, light refreshments, and the chance to explore one of the region’s most iconic cultural spaces. We look forward to honouring our history—and the alumni who have shaped it—with you.

  • ENGINEERING Gala Dinner: 100 Years of the UNB Electrical & Computer Engineering Department: 6 - 9:30 p.m.
    Note: Deadline to purchase tickets for this event is May 29.
    • Celebrate a century of innovation, learning and discovery with UNB’s department of electrical & computer engineering at a gala dinner! Begin the evening with live music from the jazz trio Solina, one of Atlantic Canada’s most exciting trios, and conversation with current and former professors, fellow alumni, and friends, followed by a three-course meal. Dress: cocktail/formal

Friday, June 5

Red and Black Day: Wear your red and black with pride!

  • Class of 1976 Golden Grad Breakfast: 9 - 10:30 a.m.
    • Celebrate 50 years of memories and milestones!
    • Join fellow classmates for the Golden Grad Breakfast buffet as we honour the Class of 1976. Reconnect with old friends and relive the moments that made your UNB years memorable. (This breakfast is open to 1976 graduates and their guest only.)
    • Location: Student Union Building, Ballroom

  • Classes of 1976 and 2001 Pin Ceremony and BBQ: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
    • Special Pin Ceremony for alumni celebrating their 50th- and 25th- year reunions in the Student Union Building, followed by a BBQ outside the Alumni Memorial Building with an option to eat inside Memorial Hall, taking in the beauty of her historic stained glass windows.
    • Ceremony location: Student Union Building, Cafeteria
    • BBQ location: Alumni Memorial Building/Memorial Hall

  • ENGINEERING BBQ: 12 - 1:30 p.m.
    • Join Dean Joshua Leon as well as engineering alumni, students, faculty and staff for a feast of food and time to chat with old friends and colleagues in the dramatic new atrium and exterior space. The BBQ will be followed by an open house of the engineering faculty, including tours of the faculty’s dynamic new spaces, and will feature what’s happening in the department of electrical & computer engineering to mark and celebrate their 100th anniversary.

  • Faculty Open Houses: 1 - 3 p.m.
    • Interested in seeing how your faculty has evolved since your time at UNB? Be sure to take part in our faculty open houses to walk the halls of your former buildings, meet faculty and staff, explore what's new, and connect with your faculty dean.

  • PHYSICAL EDUCATION Class of 1971 Private Tour: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
    • A private tour of the kinesiology building, the Richard J. CURRIE CENTER, and the Lady Beaverbrook Gym for the Physical Education Class of 1971, led by the Dean of Kinesiology, Dr. Wayne Albert.
    • Location: Tour will begin in Kinesiology Building, 1st floor lobby

  • UNB at Picaroons Roundhouse: 3 - 7 p.m.
    • Looking for a place to spend your Friday afternoon with friends and fellow UNBers? Check out one of Fredericton’s popular craft breweries! Drop by the UNB alumni-owned Picaroons Roundhouse beginning at 3 p.m. to unwind and socialize in a casual setting, while enjoying views of the Saint John River. The brewery will be open to the public, so seating is first come first served. The first 100 UNB alumni registrants will receive a complimentary drink ticket and will be entered to win some exciting UNB prize packs!

  • Computer Science Class of 1976 Reception: 4 – 5:45 p.m.
    • Reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate 50 years of shared memories at the Computer Science Class of ’76 reception! This special pre-dinner reception offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect before heading to the Senior Classes Dinner. Open exclusively to Computer Science Class of 1976 alumni and their guests.

  • NURSING Class of 1976 Wine & Cheese: 4:30 - 6 p.m.
    • Reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate 50 years of shared memories at the Nursing Class of ’76 Wine & Cheese! This special pre-dinner reception offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect before heading downstairs to the Senior Classes Dinner. Open exclusively to Nursing Class of 1976 alumni and their guests.

  • Class of 1976 AND EARLIER Senior Classes Dinner: 6 - 9 p.m.
    • An opportunity to dine and share your favourite memories of UNB with alumni from the Classes of 1976 and earlier. This evening is all about UNB memories and reminiscing as we share a great meal and some great stories.

  • UNB at Boyce Farmers Market: 9 - 11 a.m.
    • Revisit a Saturday tradition. Recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets, the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is the city’s traditional Saturday morning gathering spot downtown for fresh and healthy foods, craft, creativity and conversation.

  • NURSING Class of 1976 Breakfast: 9 a.m.
    • Join your Nursing '76 classmates for a relaxed and joyful breakfast as you catch up, share stories, and celebrate the incredible journey you’ve taken together. This event is open to Nursing Class of 1976 alumni only.

  • NURSING Class of 1986 Brunch: 11 a.m.
    • Reconnect with your BN'86 classmates for Saturday Brunch. This event is open to BN’86 alumni and their guests. This event is open to BN’86 alumni only.

  • Beaverbrook Art Gallery Tours: 10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.
    • Enjoy a guided tour of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. The gallery has undergone a major construction project dedicated to the late Harrison McCain. Construction on the Harrison McCain Pavilion began in 2019 with the goal of creating a fully accessible, 10,000-square foot expansion to the gallery that would dramatically change the streetscape of Queen Street, honouring the legacy and generosity of Harrison McCain.

  • Engineering Class of 1961 Lunch with the Dean: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
    • Reconnect with fellow members of the Engineering Class of 1961 over a special luncheon with Joshua Leon, dean of engineering. This relaxed gathering is a wonderful opportunity to reminisce, share stories, and celebrate the lasting connections and achievements of your class. This lunch is compliments of Dean Leon and is open to Engineering Class of 1961 alumni and up to one guest each.

  • PHYSICAL EDUCATION Class of 1971 Afternoon Social: 1 - 3 p.m.
    • After visiting the Boyce Farmers’ Market, join your fellow Class of ’71 Phys. Eders at the former Maggie Jean Residence for light appetizers, drinks and good company. Catch up with classmates and share fond memories from your university days. This event is open to the Physical Education Class of 1971 alumni and their guests.

  • NURSING Class of 1976 Open House: 2 - 5 p.m.
    • Spend a heartfelt afternoon reconnecting with your Nursing Class of ’76 family at a special open house hosted by the Class of 1976 planning committee at the home of Mary and Ted. Bring along any photos, keepsakes, or memorabilia you’d like to display - we’d love to celebrate the stories behind them! Faculty members are also warmly invited to join, making this a meaningful opportunity to reconnect and honour the journey you’ve shared. This event is open to Nursing Class of 1976 alumni, their guests and nursing faculty.

    • Mingle with fellow alumni and friends before sitting down to a traditional Maritime meal.

  • Maritime Lobster Boil: 7 - 10:30 p.m.
    • Enjoy an excellent Maritime tradition. You do not want to miss this night. The dinner will be followed by an opportunity to kick up your heels to tunes by Spotlight Entertainment, who will happily take requests! This event is all about UNB pride – so wear your red and black!

  • Farewell Breakfast: 9 - 10 a.m.
    • Join your classmates one last time to bid adieu and see what’s it’s like to dine as a student at meal hall.

  • LAW Class of 1996 Brunch: 11 a.m.
    • Cap off the weekend with brunch at a Maritime pub in the heart of downtown Fredericton. This event is open to LLB’96 alumni and their guests.

  • FORESTRY & ARTS Classes of 1966 Reception: 2 - 6 p.m.
    • Step back in time and spend a heartfelt afternoon reconnecting with your Forestry and Arts Classes of ’66 at a special reception hosted by Tim and Judy. This relaxed and welcoming gathering offers the perfect setting to catch up, share laughter, and relive the memories that have shaped your lifelong bond. This event is open to Forestry and Arts Classes of 1966 alumni and their guests.
