-- University of New Brunswick Strategic Plan, November 5, 2010

With these words from our Strategic Plan, it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to take a virtual tour of UNB Saint John's Faculty of Business, our graduate and undergraduate programs, the successes and accomplishments of our students, staff and faculty, and our numerous other endeavours that range from academic and scholarly research, community and business partnerships, Co-op and internship programs to a variety of international activities.

We have a strong and innovative MBA, ranked among the best in Canada, a highly acclaimed accredited undergraduate Co-op program, successful college links and an enviable international record attracting graduate and undergraduate students from all corners of the globe.

We put students first, we uphold academic values, we respect academic freedom and we celebrate what the Faculty of Business does best because our goal is to bring out the best in our students, staff and faculty, and indeed the community at large that we serve and to whom we owe so much.

Our strength lies in our ability to adapt to a changing world and changing technologies, to be uncompromising in our pursuit of excellence and to never settle for second best.  That is what keeps the Faculty of Business humming and our programs growing from strength to strength.

If you are looking for an opportunity to study at UNB Saint John, we promise to offer you an outstanding program and an unforgettable campus experience.  We are small enough to provide you with personal attention, yet large enough for you to experience a rich and culturally diverse cosmopolitan environment on campus.  Therein lies our strength, our sensitivity to your unique personal needs and the broader goals of a cutting-edge internationally recognized education in business, complete with relevant skills and knowledge to achieve the best labour market outcomes, and an exceptional career over the longer term.

My colleagues and I will be honoured if you would please take a moment to browse through the pages of the Faculty of Business.  We shall be obliged to hear about your opinions, comments and advice, and to learn from you on how we might make our academic programs, scholarly pursuits, community networks and outreach activities stronger, better and even more effective than they are today.

Respectfully,

Fazley Siddiq
