Sport club support

Individual and community support are essential to the success and continuation of UNB sport clubs! 

Clubs are primarily self-funded; they raise revenue through membership dues, fundraising and donations. Donations will directly support championship travel expenses and fund student-athlete scholarships.

Championship travel

The level of competition and achievement by UNB sport clubs is at all all-time high! Several our clubs represent UNB at the provincial, national and international levels. Your donation will support the UNB sport club program student athletes with championship travel expenses.

Scholarships

Student athletes are nominated for a scholarship by a member of their team’s coaching staff. Your donation will subsidize a student athlete’s tuition fees.

Ways to contribute 

If you wish to support the UNB Sport Clubs, you can make a donation by completing the attached brochure and returning it to the Recreation Services office. Alternatively, you can make a donation online. If you would like your donation to support a specific club, please note the club’s name in the memo line. If you'd like your donation to support all 23 clubs, please write "club sports program” on the memo line.

TIP Team investment program 

The sport club program has created the TIP initiative - our Team Investement Program. Donations can be added to transactions that are processed by our membership services staff! (first floor of the Richard J. CURRIE CENTER)
